Riant

Riant is a non-linear composition designed to demonstrate the capabilities of a tool desinged to empower the conductor to control the live processing of an ensemble.

The Max/MSP patch (pictured) allows the conductor to control the prcoessing that the instruments sounds are sent through based on input through a joy-con controller (including button presses and motion). The conductor is also cueing performers--indicating both section and general affect.
